Our team

At MyWorld.Degree, we pride ourselves on our culturally diverse team of researchers, who come from a myriad of different backgrounds and possess unique knowledge of different countries’ higher education systems. Our researchers are students themselves, so they have first-hand knowledge of the ins and outs of higher education processes – application, admissions, academic degrees, etc. This is what makes us different from other online platforms – we are passionate about higher education and we want to share with you what we know! In return, we also want to hear your opinions and feedback on ways in which we can improve our website, so we can benefit more students in the long run. Please feel free to write to us: info@myworld.degree

Our mission

Our common goal is to make information about higher education easily accessible to everyone. We hope that when you use our website, you are able to obtain the most accurate and up-to-
date information, which is why we always prioritise data obtained directly from universities as primary sources of information. Gaining this data is the first step, but certainly not the last. We think that it is important for all of this data to navigated easily, hence we have devised our own system to categorise information we have collated in a way that is easy to understand. We hope that by doing that, you will be able to easily compare between universities using common benchmarks

Our method

Firstly, we define Higher Education Institutions as institutions that award academic degrees (Bachelor's, Master's, Integrated Master’s or PhDs) to students, upon previous completion of a high school diploma (A levels, International Baccalaureate or equivalent).

Secondly, we have sorted degrees offered by institutions into about 90 different degree categories. This is because many institutions might offer up to 900 undergraduate courses each year, each with different specifications and academic focuses. Hence, we put these different degrees into categories, in hopes of making it easier for you to learn about and compare the different degree categories offered in different institutions

Thirdly, we have specially created our filters to allow you to seamlessly refine your search – for example by countries, regions, programme type, study level, degrees offered and more

We don’t want to bore you with the details, but those are just some of the approaches we have taken to make our website more easily navigable.
